We are
happy to be able to welcome you on our web
pages and to present our organ workshop to
you.
The beginnings
of our workshop go back into the year 1990,
when we started to restore
old organs and build new ones in Brestovec
near Rogaska Slatina.
Nowadays
nearly fifty workers are employed in our
modern workshop.
They all specialize
in particular fields of the organ building
process and they master the demanding
computer planning technology as well as the
modern
machine operation.
They also
are well skilled craftsmen for mechanical
organ building.
In the
hands
of these skilled artisans ordinary
wood changes
into wonderful carving masterpieces.

we build: |

new mechanical and electromechanical
organs from the project conception on
to the final completion, |

mechanical
portative organs and positive organs,
|

we restore and reconstruct the existing
organs of all types of builds (slider
mechanical systems, cone mechanical systems,
electromechanical systems, all sorts
of pneumatical systems), |
-
|
we
maintain and service the organs for
faultless performance,

|
we intone and tune the organs. |
In
our workshop large as well as small organs
are built and old instruments are reconstructed
with great accuracy. We are striving to
produce highest quality organs which have
a beautiful, characteristic and clear sound.
We pay a lot of attention to the production
and to the correct intonation of the pipes.
Up to now 213 large and small organs have
been built or restored in our workshop.
The majority of these instruments perform
their
function in Slovenia, but they also appear
in Belgium, Germany, Austria, Croatia,
Italy, Nigeria, Luxemburg, Great Britain,
Paland,
France, Bohemia, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Holland and even in America, Russia and
in Seoul/Korea.
The quality of our work has
been confirmed by several Slovenian and
international awards. We sincerely invite

The 10th anniversary of the Organ building
workshop of Anton Skrabl was the right
occasion for a new book. “The Sound
and the Harmony”
is its title and it speaks about the
organs and the organ building. It was
written
by Anton Skrabl. It has a lot of colour
pictures,
graphs and construction drawings. The
book has 252 pages, it was published
by the
author himself and it can be obtained
at the price
of 25 €.
